Through this beautifully illustrated talk local wildlife photographer and naturalist Jerry Kinsley will share his methods of how to photograph some secretive and elusive animals.

How to find us: We are situated on the beautiful Thornham Estate, just off the A140 midway between Ipswich and Norwich. Turn off the A140 at the Stoke Ash White Horse pub. When you reach the Four Horseshoes pub, turn right and drive through the village of Thornham Magna. Turn left just after the village hall and just before the parish church. You will find the entrance to the Thornham Estate on the right.

Guest Speaker at Perkin Photographic Club - Peterborough - 4th June 2013.latest news

Perkins Photographic Club are hosting a Guest Speaker on 4th June 2013 at 7pm in Perkins Auditorium. The presentation is "Winter Wonderland" (Yellowstone and Grand Tetons) by Dave and Judy Hodgson DPAGB BPE1*/CPAGB BPE1* Members of other local clubs are welcome to attend. Admission is £3 for non- members and includes refreshments.

As dusk falls join Norfolk Wildlife Trust as go in search of some nocturnal creatures. With torch at hand and a moth trap at the ready we hope to tap into the amazing life of these secretive animals.

Pond nets at the ready we discover the important role ponds can play in wildlife conservation. In this three hour workshop discover some of the wildlife associated with ponds and learn how to create and manage a pond for wildlife.

As night falls we go in search of the elusive nightjar and learn why this bird is called a goat sucker.

1940s Weekend - 21-22 September 2013.

Come and enjoy the 1940s weekend on the North Norfolk Railway, our most popular event for adults by far!

Over the years this event has attracted more and more visitors and more and more exhibitors. It is widely felt to be one of the best events of its type in the country. People who attended last year were booking accommodation before they left as they enjoyed it so much!

Come in uniform or 1940s civilian dress to add to the atmosphere. Don't forget your gas mask and ration books!
